Agreement to Terms

By using CCD Office Solutions’ services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

CCD Office Solutions provides moving, office installation, packing, and related services as described on our website and in service agreements. Specific project details, timelines, and costs are outlined in individual quotes and contracts.

Quotes and Pricing

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from issue date
  • Final pricing may vary if project scope changes
  • Payment terms are specified in individual service agreements
  • We accept payment by cash, check, e-transfer, and major credit cards

Scheduling and Cancellations

Client Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made 48+ hours before scheduled service: full refund of deposit
  • Cancellations made 24-48 hours before: 50% deposit refund
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before: no refund

CCD Cancellations:
We reserve the right to reschedule due to weather, equipment issues, or emergencies. Full refunds provided if we cancel.

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about project scope
  • Ensure clear access to work areas
  • Secure valuable or fragile items not included in our service
  • Be available or have a representative present during service
  • Notify us immediately of any concerns during the project

Our Responsibilities

We commit to:

  • Arrive on time or notify you of delays
  • Provide services as outlined in our agreement
  • Use proper equipment and techniques
  • Maintain WCB coverage and insurance
  • Handle your belongings with professional care
  • Clean up work areas upon completion

Liability and Insurance

  • We maintain WCB coverage and comprehensive liability insurance
  • We are liable for damage caused by our negligence
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage, damage to items we did not pack, or damage resulting from client-provided information being inaccurate
  • Claims must be reported within 7 days of service completion
  • Maximum liability is limited to the value of services provided or $5,000, whichever is less, unless otherwise specified in writing

Items We Cannot Transport

We cannot move:

  • Hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, propane, ammunition)
  • Perishable food items
  • Plants
  • Pets
  • Items of extraordinary value without special arrangement (jewelry, cash, important documents)
  • Illegal items

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control including severe weather, natural disasters, labor disputes, or government actions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes will be handled through arbitration in Edmonton, Alberta, under Alberta law.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to our website.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with any signed service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and CCD Office Solutions regarding services provided.
